Every year Mangoes hail the begginings of summer.
 

The sweet tangy flavour is popular amongst young kids and adults alike. Mangoes can be used in a wide variety of dishes. Whether it is eaten on its own, used in many different salads or a plethora of desserts and fruit platters.

Pick mangoes for eating which reflex at the stem end of the fruit and produce a distinctive mango aroma.

Did you know? The Mango belongs in the same family as Jamaican plums and Cashew nuts.

 

Mangoes are an excellent source of vitamins A and C, a good source of dietary fibre and a useful source of vitamins B1, B6, potassium and pantothenic acid. 180kJ/100g.
